The core of this tool lies in its "electroplating" process. Through electrochemical methods, a layer of tough metal (usually nickel or nickel-cobalt alloy) is deposited onto the steel tool body, firmly embedding diamond abrasive particles within it to form an extremely wear-resistant working layer. This structure combines the ultra-high hardness of diamonds with the toughness of the metal matrix, making it highly suitable for milling, slotting, chamfering, and profiling granite, marble, quartz, and other stones.
