Preparation of diamond wire saw material

Our company selects high-quality materials and follows the strict ratio of sintered powder, wire, bead matrix, diamond powder, rubber, and other raw materials for the production of diamond wire saws to ensure the quality and stability of the products.

Firstly, the metal powder and diamond powder are mixed thoroughly, in the mixing process, a 3D stirrer is used for more than one hour to make the material fully mixed.

Secondly, the bead matrix and the powder are cold-pressed, and the cold-pressed powder should be wrapped in solid form on the outside of the bead matrix. After the whole process is finished, the whole bead is weighed again, so that the weight error of the whole bead does not exceed 0.05%, in order to ensure the stability and size consistency of the finished bead later.

Then, the cold-pressed beads are put into the graphite grinding tool, and the beads are sintered into hard lumps by high temperature and pressure. The sintered diamond is set inside the sintered alloy material, which is an important step to make the diamond wire saw with good physical and chemical holding power. After that, the beads are cooled, and the cooled beads already have the cutting performance.

Then the sintered beads are machined and rust-proofed, the purpose is to grind the surface of the beads smoothly to prevent the sintering process from flowing liquid and causing the beads to be of different sizes, and the rust-proofing treatment is to prevent the surface of the beads from rusting so that the beads can be kept longer in the air.

After that, the beads need to be threaded into the wire, this step is mainly realized by manual and semi-automatic machinery, and the beads are fixed by the fixed parts. After the beads are threaded into the wire, it is time to inject rubber to form a one-piece rubber layer on the surface of the diamond wire saw.

Next, the beads are sharpened by a fully automatic sharpening machine to give the diamond a trailing effect and thus a good cutting ability. Then, the cutting head is wound with a wire, i.e. a 100m or 50m long wire saw is wound into a bundle of 40cm diameter circular type wire, which is convenient for packing later.
