This marble diamond segment is a sandwich-type and used for cutting marble blocks.Different from the multi-layers type, the sandwich-type diamond segment only has 3 layers but each layer has the diamonds which lengthens its lifespan. There are no transaction layers in the sandwich diamond segment. The diamond concentration of the side layers is high than the middle layers, to increase its cutting performance.

Description

Compared with granite, marble is very soft, and its hardness and structure differ a lot in different marble, for example, the colour of marble changes from light to dark signifies that the hardness is changing from soft to hard. Besides, some marble have many stripe and crack, it should be taken into consideration that the diamond saw blade should not cause crack on stripy marble, such as Portopo marble.
